| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the different images between Chinese-Americans males and western males in The Joy Luck Club,and discusses their underlying cultural meanings.It also interpretes the problem of cultural identity for Amy Tan who is on behalf of some Chinese-American women and the way to establish the unique cultural value for Chinese-Americans in the culture shock. |
