应用社会主义市场经济理论，概要地分析了目前我国科技期刊的市场供求情况，指出要保持供求上的平衡，须适度控制总量，还要局部调整科技期刊的结构布局，其结构的调整必须体岳市场经济资源的优化配置，并就如何调整科技期刊的结构布局提出了意见。

Needed Overall Volume Control and Focus Re-adjustment by Science Periodicals

This paper applied the socialistic economics theory and briefly analyses the current marketing supply and demand factors for scientific and technological periodicals. It points out equilibrium may still be achieved through proper overall volume control. In addition, it states such periodicals must undergo a gradual focus readjustment which must reflect the priorities of the economic resource of the market. It poses perspectives about achieving the need re-adjustment.
