| Abstract: | People are familiar with the term ofnegative transfer of mother-tongue.However,they often exaggerate the passive effect of native language for learning a foreign language and ignore the helpful factor ofpositive transfer.This paper deals with the positive power of mother language for learning another language from multi-angles and puts forward some constructive suggestions. |
