| Abstract: | This paper introduced the transmission characteristic of the communication medium, inquiring into the transmission method of the baseband signal, explaining the relation of the communication medium and the transmission method, and the relation of the bandwidth and the carrier frequcncy, then reveling the the transmission substance and the bandwidth advantage of fiber-optic transmission. |
