| 摘 要： | 从改善闽东南的交通和投资环境、促进两岸“三通”、完善沿线各港口的配套设施建设、促进闽东南沿海旅游业的发展、加强国防交通建设促进祖国早日统一等方面阐述了修建福厦铁路的重要性和必要性,指出修建福厦铁路对我国国防交通建设、促进福建经济繁荣和发展有重大的战略意义。

| Abstract: | The importance and necessity of building the Fu-Xia railway has been expounded mainly on the basis of improving the conditions of both traffic and investment in south-east of Fu-Xia , promoting the "San Tong" between mainland and Taiwan, perfecting the construction of necessary installations at every harbor along the line, promoting the development of tourism along the coast in south-east of Fujian and reinforcing the traffic of national defense, which are of vital strategic significance to promote economic prosperity and development in Fujian. |
