新中国女子高等教育的成就--历史与国际的视角

本文对我国女子高等教育进行了历史与国际比较研究。从历史比较来看，我国女子高等教育历经了一条数量上从无到有、层次上由低走高、科类分布上从狭窄到广泛的发展道路，取得了令人瞩目的成就。从国际比较来看，我国女子高等教育在入学机会和层次分布上，与国外尤其是西方发达国家仍有一定差距，在科类分布上则较为均衡。但受女性身心特点、就业和传统观念等因素制约，女子实际接受高等教育的科类分布仍呈现出较明显的性别特点。

Achievements of Women's Higher Education in China Viewed from Historical and International Perspective

This article studies women's higher education in China viewed from historical and international angle. From the view of historical perspective, women's higher education in China has achieved outstanding accomplishments. From the view of international perspective, there is still a gap in the entrance opportunity and level distribution, compared with the foreign countries, especially the developed world. On the other hand, it is more balanced in subject distribution.
