摘    要:萧伯纳戏剧《卖花女》中伊莉莎接受了语言学教授的语言试验,想通过改变语言来实现自己的梦想.可是,改变后的伊莉莎却不能找到真正的自我.本文试图从哲学角度分析伊莉莎从本体论自我到认识论自我的转变过程,以此深挖主题.

Abstract:George Bernard Shaw's play Pygmalion describes Eliza, a flower girl, tries to realize her dream by changing her utterances, appearance with the experiment of a linguistic professor. But Eliza fails to match her language with her self-identity. This paper tries to analyze Eliza's transformation from ontological self to the epistemological self on the philosophical perspectives so as to deepen the meaning of the play.
