摘    要:随着跨文化交际学的发展,越来越多的英语教师认识到跨文化意识在促进英语教师专业发展中的重要性。但实际上,英语教师自身跨文化知识程度及其意识状况还存在许多问题,不能满足新形势下英语教师专业发展的要求。因此应从主客观等方面着手提高英语教师的跨文化意识,从而促进英语教师专业发展。

Abstract:Nowadays, more and more English teachers realize the importance of cross-cultural awareness in fostering English teachers' professional development. However there are still some problems in their cross-culture knowledge and cross-cultural awareness, which cannot meet the needs of English teachers' professional development. Some remedial work should be done to improve teachers' cross-cultural awareness, as well as English teachers' professional development.
