近现代画报印刷技术变迁

文章研究我国近现代画报的印刷技术发展。从清末至新中国成立初期,我国画报印刷技术经历了雕刻木版水印、石印、金属凸版、凹印和平版胶印五个阶段,印版和承印物的接触方式从平压平发展到圆压平,再到圆压圆,印版材料不断革新,印刷速度和耐印力逐步提升。不断发展的印刷技术丰富了画报出版的图像元素,为我国出版业的蓬勃发展打下了坚实基础。

The Transformation of Pictorial Printing Technologies in Modern China

This paper studies the development of pictorial printing technologies in Modern China. Pictorial printing technologies underwent five stages from the Late Qing Dynasty to the early period of the founding of the People's Republic of China: woodblock engraving watermark, lithography, metal letterpress, intaglio and offset. The contact mode between the printing plate and the printing stock developed from platen to flat-bed cylinder, and then to rotary printing, in which the printing plate materials continuously innovated, and the printing speed and press run gradually improved. The continuous development of printing technologies enriched the image elements of pictorial publishing, laying a solid foundation for the prosperity and development of Chinese publishing industry.
