| 摘 要： | 修辞学已有两千多年的历史,而语用学的历史只有几十年.前者走过了口语与书面语并重,但偏重表达,然后偏重书面语,最后再回归口语与书面语并重,同时兼顾接受研究的发展历程;后者源于哲学研究的"语言性转向",侧重研究接受者推断表达者语用意图的认知研究.在语言使用与理解的互动方面,修辞学与语用学可谓殊途同归.

| Abstract: | Rhetoric has a history of more than 2000 years and pragmatics has been around for only decades.The former has developed from emphasis both on oral communication and written communication with focus on expression through overemphasis on written forms to renewed stress on both speaking and writing with reception taken into consideration.The latter originates in "linguistic turn" in philosophical investigations and has been concerned mostly with the cognitive process of deducing the speaker's intention on the part of the hearer.It is on the language use and interpretation that rhetoric and pragmatics converge. |
