| Abstract: | The paper introduces the fact that SCOM and LOM cannot do well at ＂machine-understandable＂ applications, and it designs four types of ontology to describe learning objects such as content, context, structure and learner, which are based on the new technology of the Semantic Web. Additionally, we propose an approach to extract learning objects with OWL. |
