| Abstract: | This essay explores the approaches to gear modeling by using SolidWorks. Meanwhile, it presents four kinds of methods that generate SolidWorks three-dimensional model of involute gear, which should be well chosen according to the actual situation in application of the project, thus improving the accuracy of gear models and modeling efficiency. |
