The lack of attention given to federal court rules in legal curricula and lack of uniformity in bibliography coverage creates a problem for researchers in locating and using rules; the reference librarian must overcome this problem. This article is a guide to federal court rules, providing the location of these sets in standard legal bibliographic sources and information regarding commentaries and other interpretive works.
