成长的童话——《西游记》主题另解

《西游记》问世以来，对它的主题的探讨众说纷纭，其中也不乏真知灼见，但是，却并没有一种学说能够完全地说服读者。笔者以为，《西游记》的主题是人的成长这一永恒母题，小说通过孙悟空形象的塑造，真实再现了个体生命成长历程中的种种困苦磨难，主要是以唐僧为代表的成人世界为他设置的各种成长考验和对他施行的强制性规范化教育。对于成人世界，孙悟空经历了由反抗到被迫接受，再到自觉认同三个阶段。

Fairy Tales of Growth——Another Discussion of the Theme in Pilgrimage to the West

Since Pilg＇e to the West came out, there existed various discussions about its theme and some of them were full of profound insights, however, none of discussions can been completely accepted by readers. I think that the theme of Pilgrimage to the West is the course of growth, which is an eternal theme. Through shaping the image of Sun Wukong, the novel credibly reappears individual hardships in the course of growth, which are realized in many tests and compulsory standard education controlled by adults （Tang Bonze is their representative）. For the adult＇s world, Sun Wukung experienced three phases： revolting, obliged accepting and conscious identification.
