On role conversion of English teachers in pre—writing phase

Teachers' role conversion in pre-writing phase is regarded as important in college English writing reform.Questionnaires and interviews are given to some English majors.It can be observed that if a teacher can apply a student-centered,interactive teaching approach,model writing genre analysis and topic debate teaching methods in writing classes,and meanwhile,if he is not yoked by the textbooks,but modulate teaching content and schedule flexibly in accordance with students' cognition and language learning nature,students writing potential can be cultivated and their writing ability and interests can be enhanced greatly.
