A Comparison of the Sublime theory between Burke and Immanuel kant

Burke and Kant are the representatives of the western sublime theory.They both think sublime objects have some of horror and hostility,and that sublimity is the conversion from the sense of pain into the pleasant seasation.However,they differ in theory .Burke emphasizes on the sense rather than on the reason.He thinks the origin of the sublimity is the main part of the psyehological structure.While Kant tries to unite the sease and the reason,and yet he actually emphasizes on the reason.He thinks the origin of the sublimity is the moral spirit of human beings.
