蒙古族翻译文学史研究述评

蒙古国学者巴·索特那木于20世纪40年代首次提出"翻译文学"的概念,对翻译文学的两个问题进行了初步研究;之后出版的策·达木丁苏荣等主编的文学史著作较全面地反映了当时蒙古文学在接受异文化过程中发展、演进的大致轨迹,为进一步挖掘和深入研究翻译文学奠定了基础;《蒙古族文学史》及少数著作较深刻地论述了中国古典小说的翻译及在蒙古地区产生了广泛影响的历史演义小说的相关问题。

COMMENTARY ON THE HISTORY OF THE MONGOLIAN TRANSLATING LITERATURE

The concept "translating literature" was first put fo rw ard in 1940s by Ba. Suotnam, a scholar of the Republic of Mongolia who studied t wo questions about translation. "The History of Literature" edited by Ce. Damdingsurong and et al reflects in an overall way the track along which th e Mongolia n literature of the time developed and evolved in the course of accepting foreig n cultures, and lays down the foundation for further study of translating litera ture. "The History of Mongolian Literature" and other works thoroughl y deal wit h the translation of Chinese classical novels and some questions related to othe r Chinese historical novels which exercised influence far and wide in the area inhabited by the Mongols.
