论师范院校书法教育专业的建设

中国人写好中国字，是民族进步发展的需要，也是每个国民必须具备的素质要求，在海南师范创办书法教育专业，是新世纪大势所趋，亦是千秋功业不可或缺的重要组成之一，从汉字书写的社会现实看，从历史的经验和国情的需要看，从树立民族形象和国际威望以及发展国际文化交流和合作看，创办书法教育专业是极其必要的，而创办书法教育专业，海南师院既具备了相应的基础和软，硬环境，更是遇上了时代的良机和社会有利条件；同时，可以此为契机，为基础，进而占领书法“教育学”的学术高地，为构建现代化高等书法教育科学的完整体系做出贡献。

Construction of Calligraphy Education Specialty in Hainan Normal University

That Chinese should write Chinese characters well is both the demand of national advancement and the quality requirement for each citizen . The establishment of calligraphy education specialty in our college will not o nly satisfy the need of social development but also prove to be greatly signif icant. Nowadays, our college has been equipped with necessary facilities and fac ulties for setting up such a specialty. Above all, fuller use can be made of the specialty establishment to contribute much to building the entire system of adv anced calligraphy education.
