邓小平理想信念教育思考探析

A Probe into and Analyis of Deng Xiaoping's Educational Thought of Ideals and Faith

Very rich and comprehensive was the educational thought of DengXiaoping who emphasized,with the strategic foresight of a statesman,that the education of ideals and faith should be greatly strengthened.This attached significance to adhering to Marxism,socialism and the leadership of CPC and realizing the great goals for the century in China.He gave the common ideals to be fostered among Chinese people and advanced the contents and demands in the course of building socialsm with Chinese characteristics at the primary stage.In his opinion,people,especially the young,should be educated in Marxism,socialism and Chinese history,and nurtured as new successors of ideals,morality,knowledge and discipline.This would be accomplished by reinforcing the construction of Party members' conduct and the general mood of society and adhering to the correct and leading role of propaganda in the ideological front.
