| Abstract: | The Great Gatsby, the masterpiece of F. Scott. Fitzgerald, becomes one of the greatest works in the age of Jazz, because of its deeply social significance and excellent artistic attainment. In this work, Fitzgerald employs all kinds of colors as symbols to reflect the characteristics of the age and to deepen the subject of the work. The author of the paper mainly analyzes the role played by the symbolic colors in expressing the subject of the work. |
