Emergent writer as emergent ‘reader’: Juliet makes her mark II

Writing and reading develop concurrently and in concert: real reading of texts, in a range of media, informs real writing. This article considers the influence of a variety of such reading on the writing of a four-year-old girl during a six-month period.
