| Abstract: | Problems exist in the translation of laws and regulations from Chinese into English. These problems are attributable mainly to the failure on the part of translators to observe the principles governing such translation, as well as to their lack of a rigorous workstyle and a high degree of proficiency in law and in English. To solve the problems, it is imperative to devise and implement appropriate countermeasures. |
