| 摘 要： | 我国酒店业的迅速发展和酒店服务人才的巨大缺口使高职院校的酒店服务与管理专业成为热门专业，但学生在顶岗实习中暴露出的英语交际能力低下的问题表明，酒店专业英语教学尚存在不足。本文从需求分析、教材选用、教学方法、教师素质和合作教学模式等五个方面分析了如何改进高职院校酒店专业英语教学。

| Abstract: | With the rapid development of hotel industry in China and great shortage of hotel staff, the major of hotel service and management in higher vocational colleges becomes popular. The professional English teaching in college can not meet the requirement of practice in hotels. From the aspects of needs analysis, selection of teaching materials, teaching methods, teacher＇s quality and cooperation in teaching, the paper presents advices on how to improve the professional English teaching in major of hotel service and management. |
