基于课程标准的教师和学习者自主性研究

摘    要:学习者自主性涵盖技术、心理、社会文化和批判政治学等层面。英语课程标准明确提出要发展学生的自主学习意识和能力,这实际上也对教师自主性提出了要求,因为学生自主在很大程度上取决于教师自主。课程标准下的教师和学生自主性研究要致力于探讨教师对课程标准的理解、意见和态度以及课程标准的颁布、实施和新教材的使用对教师和学生自主性所造成的影响。教师和学生自主性研究可以使用定性和定量研究方法,但定性方法,例如关于教师教学实况和学生学习实况的纵向、多例个案研究,似乎更加合适。

Research on Teacher and Learner Autonomy in the Context of English Curriculum Standards

Abstract:Autonomy should be viewed from multiple perspectives,such as technical,psychological,socio-cultural and political-critical perspectives.In China,the English curriculum standards aims at developing learner autonomy,which en- tails the promotion of teacher autonomy,as it is recognized that the development of learner autonomy depends largely on teacher autonomy.Research on teacher and learner autonomy in this context should focus on classroom teachers' percep- tions,views and attitudes regarding the new curriculum,and should explore how the implementation of the new curricu- lum and the use of new textbooks affect the exercise and development of teacher and student autonomy.While both quali- tative and quantitative methods can be adopted in this line of research,qualitative research such as longitudinal,multi-case study approach seems more appropriate.
