Abstract:Studies on the early growth of 20 broad-leaved tree species in the transformation of protecting of water-conserved forest in Dongjiang drainage area of Huizhou were carried out and the results showed as follows: Albizia falcataria grew quickly;Acacia mangium,Acacia auriculiformis grew relatively quickly;Castanopsia hystrix,Castanea henryi,Cyclobalanopsis glauca,Bischofia javanica,Sapium sebiferum,Sapium discolor,Schima superba,Liquidambar formosan,Mytilaria laosensis,Syzygium cumini,Chukrasia tabularia,Mich...
