谈中学英语词汇教学

在英语学习中，学生要掌握的一个最重要、最基本的方面就是词汇。词汇教学中需要加强的五个方面：1、要注重灵活多样的教学法的结合。2、重视最常用词多样性的教学。3、重视词汇短语的教学。4、重视具有中西化差异的词汇教学。5、教师要有意识地帮助学生对词汇进行整理和分类。

On the vocabulary teaching in high school

Vocabulary is central to language and of criti ca l importance to the language learners. Nevertheless, the teaching and learning o f vocabulary have been undervalued. This paper focuses on some aspects, which sh ould be strengthened in the vocabulary teaching, First, the combination of deffe rent pedagogical approaches should be advocated. Second, students should be givv en explicit instruction and practice in the most common words. Third, the teachi ng of lexical phrases should be strengthened. Fourth, defferences between Chines e and western culture in the meaning of vocabulary should be compared and contra sted in the teaching. And fifth, teachers should intentionally help students to sort and classify words in the vocabulary teaching.
