外语教学离不开文化背景知识的渗透

每一种语言都有其文化的特点，这既可反映出不同的民族有着不同的文化，又可说明语言和文化是紧密相连的，不了解其文化，也就难以理解其语言。因此本文主要论述在外语教学中，不能忽视文化背景知识的讲授，以利于学生正确学习和理解外语，正确无误地用所学言语表达自己的思想。

Foreign Language Teaching Permeated with Cultural Background Knowledge

Each language has its own cultural characteristics. This shows that different nationalities have different cultures and that a language is closely linked a particular culture. Without cultural background knowledge, one would find it difficult to understand the language. This paper argues that the cultural background knowledge should not be ignored in foreign language teaching. With a good command of the cultural background, the students will find it easier to understand the language correctly and to express their ideas better in that language.
