重读第一部清代诗歌文献学著作--《清诗纪事初编》

已故北京大学教授邓之诚先生所著<清诗纪事初编>,人们往往从一般历史学的角度去看待它,并且还有人对它的某些疏忽进行十分严厉的批评.事实上,该书是当代第一部清代诗歌文献学方面的专著,尽管内部不可避免地存在着某些舛误,但在清诗研究的发展历程中占有十分重要的地位,曾经产生过重大的影响.

Rereading the First Monograph on the Philology of Qing Poems--Qing Shi Ji Shi Chu Bian

Professor Deng Zhicheng, who once belonged to Peking University, had written the book Qing Shi Ji Shi Chu Bian. People look on the book generally from a common historical angle, and even only focus on its negligence, thus put forward extremely severe criticism on it. However, it is the first monograph in the contemporary era on the philology of Qing poems. Although there are ineluctably some mistakes in it, it had had a full impact on the developing course of the research on Qing poems, and will above suspicion play a great part in it in future.
