On How to Strengthen Applied Undergraduate Education in Newly Upgraded Universities

This paper analyzes the basic task of higher education in popularity stage and three primary factors influencing the development of newly upgraded undergraduate universities. In accordance with the present situation of Shanghai Second Industrial University, this article also refers to some relations that need to be handled well during the development of applied undergraduate education in newly upgraded universities.
