高中英语教师专业发展动机探究

摘    要:用调查问卷、课堂观察和课后访谈等方法了解高中英语教师专业发展动机状况,影响教师专业发展动机的主要因素,和不同阶段教师对自己教学所设定的不同目标、不同需求所产生的不同动机。结果表明教师的专业发展动机本质和特征是目标、需求和内、外在动机。只有把握好教师的需求和教师的工作目标,激励教师的内、外在动机,才能促进教师专业发展。

Abstract:The study was carried out on the English teachers' motivation on professional development by using the methods of questionnaires,classroom observation and the interview to explore the characteristic and factors which affect the teachers' motivation on their professional development.The study shows that the teachers' goal,needs,intrinsic and extrinsic motivation play an important role.Only when the teachers' different goals and different needs are met and their intrinsic and extrinsic motivation is stimulated,can teacher professional development be promoted.
