解构传统译论的"忠实"

“忠实”标准一直是传统译论的核心。它既是译者用于指导翻译实践的原则,又是翻译评论者检验译文质量、评论译文优劣的尺度。然而,随着国内外翻译研究的发展,“忠实”这个传统译论中无可厚非的标准却引来了争论、遭到了质疑,真可谓见仁见智。本文从三个方面解构传统译论中的“忠实”,并建议以辨证的观点理解,即“忠实”有程度之分,绝对“忠实”是完全不可能的,但完全抛弃“忠实”也是不正确的。

The Deconstruction of "Fidelity" in Traditional Translation Theory

"Fidelity" is always the core in the traditional translation theory. It is not only the principle for the translators to direct their translations, but also the yardstick for the critics to comment on the versions. However, with the further research in translation home and abroad, the very authoritative standard "fidelity" has met question and controversy. Therefore, different people have different opinions on this. This thesis deconstructs "fidelity" from three aspects and suggests comprehending it with a dialectical point of view. That is, "fidelity" has some limitations. Absolute "fidelity" is completely impossible, but to abandon it is also incorrect.
