虹膜特征提取和匹配的几种主要算法研究

虹膜的身份识别在国际上已成为一个研究的热点领域。本文主要比较了虹膜特征提取和匹配的几种主要算法,分别说明了Gabor变换、傅里叶变换和小波变换的优点与不足,并指出相对而言,小波变换更适合应用在虹膜图像的识别中。

Analysis of Several Major Algorithm of the Iris Feature Extraction and Matching

The iris identification has become a hot spot in the study of fields in the world.This paper mainly compares several main algorithms about the iris feature extraction and matching to illustrate the advantages and disadvantages of the Gabor transform and Fourier transform and wavelet transform.This paper points out that,in contrast,wavelet transform is more suitable for application in the iris image recognition.
