| Abstract: | Phonetic teaching plays a vital role in English education. The paper analyses problems existed in phonetic teaching for English majors of the normal colleges.It is of the first importance to develop and arouse the students' interest in phonetics.We should attach great importance to the principle of concise discourse and adequate drill,uniting theory with practice to improve teaching quality. |
