| 摘 要： | 以绍兴文理学院建立的基于网络试运行的《红楼梦》汉英平行语料库为平台,利用检索工具,提取《红楼梦》中一定数量的俗语以及杨宪益译本和戴维·霍克斯（David Hawks）译本中对应的译文为例进行分析比较,研究两译本在俗语翻译过程中的共性特征与差异现象。

| Abstract: | The two popular English versions of ＂A Dream of Red Mansion＂are translated by Yang Hsien-yi and David Hawkes respectively.Based on the online available parallel of Chinese-English corpus,this paper illustrates the procedures of creating this parallel corpus which provides a platform and easy means to retrieve by using the relevant tool,thus speeding and simplifying the strenuous work of data collecting.A case of studying the saying-translations is exemplified to see the translating methods,the style and purpose. |
