| 摘 要： | 中国文化发展的历史实际上是一部"偶像"崇拜的历史.孔子作为"偶像"崇拜最顶级的人格化身,对其思想的认知异化致使中国文化发展史在不同时期产生了不同的"偶像"崇拜个体,形成了一种强势的"偶像"崇拜的文化现象.晚清文化嬗变的基本趋势是打破以儒家文化为核心的一元文化格局,形成儒学与诸子学、中学与西学并存的多元文化格局,动摇了以孔夫子为代表的传统"偶像"的至尊地位;晚清文化嬗变的特质是坚持民族主义的文化精神,强化了中学在近代文化学术建构中的价值地位,导致新一轮"偶像"崇拜现象的复现.文化嬗变与"偶像"崇拜的矛盾现象是民族国家社会发展中特有的精神现象,也是引人反思的魅惑所在.
