Abstract: | According to this study personality traits appear to be rather stable during the seminary years. Wherever this may be the case, a seminary or training program may enable the person to accept himself and to channel certain energies in a productive direction. When undesirable and unproductive patterns for the ministry remain, if such can be identified, the individual may be directed to other more appropriate professions or occupations. If certain traits and patterns can be changed, as seems possible through clinical training procedures, a powerful environment, characterized by constancy, pervasiveness and consistency, would need to be developed. |
