1988年中国科技论文的统计与分析

本文以美国《科学引文索引》等四种大型检索工具为基础,统计出1988年我国被收录的科技论文总量为11853篇,世界排位第14,比1987年上升三位。论文增长率为 31.5％,居世界首位。我国论文数占世界论文总数的1.25％,比1987年略有上升。学科分布,基础学科5837篇,占47.1％;农业林业145篇,仅占1.2％。基础学科中物理学是领先学科,占52.5％。地区分布以京沪最多,机构分布以大学最多,占57.2％。文章指出,论文数量增长较快的根本原因是改革开放政策的正确执行。值得注意的是环境学科、生物学的论文减少,农业林业论文比重太小。向国外投稿的数量增多。指出了与国外的差距,并提出了具体建议。

STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF CHINA'S SCIENTIFIC PAPERS OF 1988

In 1988, 11 853 articles from Chinese scientific journals were indexed in Science Citation Index (SCI) and other three retrevial systems. This number ranked the 14th that year in the world as against the 17th in 1987. The increase rate was 31.5%, the foremost of the world. The number of the articles accounted for 1.25% of the world's total, a minor increase compared with that of 1987. The distribution of the articles in different disciplines is as follows: farming and forestry 145 (1.2%) and basic science 5837 (47.1%), in which physics accounted for 52.5%. Geographically, Beijing, Shanghai had the majority of the articles, but institutionally articles from universities accounted for 57.2% .The rapid increase is attributed to the implication of the policy of open-door to the outside and the improvement of domestic conditions. It is worth noting that the number of articles about environmental science, biology decreased, that about fanning and forestry was not proportional, and that submitted to the outside of China increased.
