Reflection of Reform of Performance Assessment System of University Teachers in China

The establishment of "developmental assessment system of university teachers"is a direction of the re-form of performance assessment system of university teachers in China, which is a systematic project requiring full co-operation and participation from government, university administrators, teachers, students and society. On the premise of setting up the teacher-development-based idea the harmonious co-development of both teachers and universities can be realized by respecting personal characteristics of each teacher and giving full play to the features of developmental and reward-punishment assessment.
