Career planning for technical college students in China

Career is closely related to life,as Donald E.Super suggested,in the way of life span (growth,exploration, establishment,maintenance,and decline),life space (child,student,leisurite,citizen,worker,spouse,homemaker, parent and pensioner),and role-play concentration (failure in any role-playing would imply failure in next one). Career can be planned by technical college students according to their personal strengths and weaknesses.Self concept is the most important determinant of career planning.Make efforts to understand oneself,then to understand others.Rationality is the essential to career planning.Today the employment situation is increasingly rigorous, Planning career rationally can strengthen the personal power,and promote the competition ability.However,many technical college students show unrealistic and boastful of substance and core of career planning.This paper provides a new system or way of thinking both theoretically and practically.It helps to guide them to proceed to career planning more reasonably and scientifically.
