| Abstract: | In the period of Reform Movement of 1898, Yan Fu made the greatest contribution and had the profound influence in the spreading of western knowledge. Yan Fu's thought of early modernization at least had its significance in the following aspects: exposing the essence of science and democracy, advocating the modernization of human;appealing for capitalized economic ethics. |
