Heritage Protection and Development in a Perspective of Data Integration:A Theoretical Framework

The contemporary notion of heritage protection and development is undergoing a shift from the protection of the heritage itself to that of the surrounding environment,from static protection to dynamic monitoring and management,and from heritage to its benign interaction with people and society,which brings the demand for the analysis of multi-source data.Digital technologies and big data bring new possibilities for heritage protection and development,but also put forward new challenges and demands for new theoretical frameworks to guide the practice of heritage protection and development.In view of the current background of the conceptual shift,diversified data and analysis techniques of heritage protection and design,this paper proposes a theoretical framework of data integration,which is consisted of data elements,analysis methods and objectives.This paper discusses the application of this theoretical framework in research,and the future tasks of heritage protection and development from the perspective of data integration.
