A Further Study of Jadeite Craftsmanship in Tengchong

There lived hard working people in the southwest frontier in the early period of Ming Dynasty.Their excellent jadeite craftsmanship and the superior geographic position have transformed Tengchong into an important place of producing jadeite in early period and at a large scale.Jadeite craftsmanship has been closely connected with everyday life of people,an important part of culture.This paper is intended to make a further study of jadeite craftsmanship,which is significant to the development of culture and tourism in Tengchong.
