开放大学服务社会教育的九大功能

社会教育是全民学习的现实形态，是终身教育的实现方式，构成了开放大学重要的服务领域。开放大学不仅是开展社会教育的主体，而且必须为社会教育的开展提供有效的服务。其服务功能体现在：推动社会教育研究，制订社会教育规范、总结社会教育经验，推广社会教育模式，培训社会教育人员，开展社会教育咨询，拓展社会教育领域，完善社会教育体系，提供社会教育示范。

On the Nine Functions of Open University's Service to the Social Education

Social education is the concrete form of national learning and a way of implementing lifelong learning, which composes an important service field of open university. Open university is the mainbody of social education, and it is supposed to efficiently provide social education with the following service： motivating its study, making relative regulations, summarizing useful experi- ence, popularizing effective model, training professional teachers, holding helpful consuhancy, enlarging feasible fields, perfec- ting social education system and providing inspiring models.
