| 摘 要： | 崔国因是清廷派驻美国的第四任公使。在国势孱弱、美国朝野排华极盛的困难情况下，他几度交涉美国排华法案，抗议美国政府对中国侨民的歧视，维护华侨的合法权益；力阻具有强烈排华倾向的参议员布莱尔担任驻华公使；主张在美的中国侨民落地生根，加入美国国籍。
