| Abstract: | Thematic theory is an important principle in Systemic-functional Grammar.It is often used in text analysis.In this thesis,the author uses thematic theory to analyze college English compositions,tries to find the difference on TP patterns between the compositions of high scores and low scores,then analyzes the causing reasons,hoping to give some help for the teaching of English writing. |
