Abstract: | AbstractPolyethylene glycol 1540 was tested in the preservation of a waterlogged, carved, and painted wooden bowl from a prehistoric site on Patarata Island, Veracruz, Mexico. The procedure successfully employed water and Carbowax 1540 in a partial substitution process. |
