| Abstract: | The long-term prosperity of the aristocratic families politically influential for generations during the Six Dynasties was related to their family practice and learning.The He family in Kaiji,which became prosperous from the Han Dynasty,the Six Dynasties to the Sui and Tang Dynasties and became remarkable in the south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River because lots of gifted scholars from the family appeared during the hundreds of years.The family laid stress on loyalty and advocated filial piety.Academically,learning of rites was handed down through generations. |
