略论奇喻

本文通过奇喻与一般诗歌隐喻的对比，沿着奇喻的历史发展轨迹，以玄学派诗人多恩及现代主义诗人艾略特等诗作中的例子为依据，详细探讨了奇喻的特点及其作为一种特殊的诗歌语言的表现力。

On Conceits

s: By contrasting conceits with the more common, but equally suggestive poetic metaphors and by analyzing applications of conceits in different literary contexts-notably those of Donne and Eliot, this paper attempts at a generalization of the features of the Conceit and more important, a delving into its expressiveness and implications as a unique poetic medium. The author believes that a systematic and meticulous study of conceits contributes immensely to the understanding and appreciation of the Modernistic poetry.
