| 摘 要： | 林纾在翻译外国小说上成就斐然，韦理在翻译汉诗方面成绩卓越。对比二者的译品，可以发现二者在语言、知识与理解、表达文本意义等方面具备相似的的素养，而这些素养正是翻译从业者所不可或缺的。

| Abstract: | Lin shu made great achievements in translating foreign fictions into Chinese while Arthur Waley＇s work in translating Chinese poems into English could be a match thereto. Through a comparison of their translations, it can be found that they share some similar qualities in terms of language and knowledge as well as understanding and expressing the originals, and these qualifies are just what are required of translators. |
