毛泽东“赶超”思想的内涵、特征探析

毛泽东赶超思想的基本内涵是:赶超对象锁定英美;赶超时间从"五六十年"、"十几年"、"两三年"、再到"一百多年";赶超步骤从"两步走"到"两个阶段";赶超指标锁定钢铁产量,赶超手段采用群众运动;赶超要求是"多快好省";赶超道路是"以苏为鉴",走自己的路。毛泽东"赶超"思想的特点主要表现为高速性、粗放性、非均衡性、群众性、政治性。毛泽东"赶超"思想反映了中华民族求富求强的百年宏愿,激发了中国人民奋发图强的拼搏精神;符合后发国家现代化建设的努力方向;有效地捍卫了国家的独立和利益。但也毋庸回避毛泽东的"赶超"思想脱离了国情,确立了不恰当的指标,采用了不正确的方法,忽视了科学技术。

The basic connotation of Mao Zedong’s "catching up and surpassing" thought is to catch up with and surpass the UK and the US.According to such a thought,the process might last for about "fifty to sixty years",or "more or less about ten years",or "two or three years",or "more than one hundred years";it might take "two steps" or "two stages";its index was iron and steel output;its means was to carry out mass movement,its requirements were "many,fast,good and thrifty";its route was to learn from the USSR and to go our own way.The features of his thought were high-speed,extensive,uneven,mass-involved and political-oriented.It reflected the old dream of the Chinese people to enrich and strengthen our country and stimulated the struggle spirit of our Chinese people.It suited the modernization orientation of post-developing countries and defended national independence and interests.However,it deviated from the actual situation of our country,set improper indexes,adopted incorrect methods and neglected science and technology.
